  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I had a fantastic time over the 9 weeks of my internship

  • My project was used for several upcoming conferences and some of my daily tasks were shared with the whole team

  • Every member of my team were happy to answer any question I had and were always there to help when I had a problem

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Due to it being a less busy time in the insurance industry I was not that busy the whole time. However the charity project which you do as part of the internship means you constantly have work.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Because of the niche nature of the insurance industry, a lot of the internship was just learning about different parts of the industry. Not that this was a bad thing of course.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My computer skills vastly improved, as did my ability to work within an office based team.

  • Insurance by its nature promotes a great social scene.

  • Central London is expensive
