  • Support was always available when required.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • My project allowed me to manage my work load on an individual level. I had 6 weeks to complete my project in anyway I wanted to, which mean I could dictate how busy my working day was.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given a lot of responsibility from the outset. My projects completion was extremely important to my team, and needed to be completed by the deadline to a high standard (my project produced work that used by not only my line manager, but their manager, and the category director.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My degree is not really relevant to the field I was working in, nevertheless, I feel the confidence I gained from completing this internship, and the eventual job offer, will allow me to enjoy my their year of University a lot more (knowing that I don't have to worry about finding a job later in the year).

    4/5

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Easy going, busy at times, but always friendly.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The pre-internship side (organising interviews, assessment centres etc) could have been a lot better, but during the internship itself I could not fault the organisation.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The company invested a lot in my training during my short time there. I was given the chance to complete and excel training course, and attended multiple development days throughout the internship to develop my work / social skills.

  • There was an amazing social scene, all the interns got along and bonded during our short time together

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Being close to London, the area was expensive to rent in, and there was little help from Tesco in finsingin accommodation. Though the internship pays, this was just enough to cover my accommodation and general living expenses.

    2/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • 4/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There were multiple opportunities to attend team days, sports days, and general events the company held.
