    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • 5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • You are treat like any other full time permanent employee whilst on placement. They value your contributions and fresh approach as much as any intern appreciates their support and assistance.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Support was always available, but do not expect to be micro-managed. I was trusted with the responsibility and opportunity to do a lot of work independently with minimal guidance.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • There was always a lot of work to do, so I was very busy a lot of the time. They expect you to deliver, no matter how long this takes, so there will be times that you may have to stay longer than your contracted hours. Personally I didn't find this a problem, as I managed my time well and when I did need to stay late, it was generally to continue the work I was enjoying.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given a lot of responsibility on all the projects that I was assigned. They trusted me to lead projects, and supported me when I proposed my own project to manage within the business.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
