The Role
I loved my time at Towers Watson. It provided a great variety of work as well as its focused but relaxed culture.
We were assigned real client work and were allowed to genuinely contribute to to projects our colleagues were working on
They have a fantastic buddy system. I was fortunate enough to effectively have two people who kept a close eye on me and really helped for me to get the most out of my internship
The work load was well balanced, however at times I did find myself waiting for new projects. However I feel this is not unusual due to the nature of an internship.
I felt like I was honestly given a great deal of responsibility. I completed tasks that I would have previously have said were out of my comfort zone, which was great for my development.
I would say, it has helped more with general life lessons and time management rather than being specifically beneficial for my studies. It has motivated me to get involved in other areas of university and also to have greater awareness of daily news.
The Company
The atmosphere in general was really relaxed and open. We were sat amongst some of the most senior people in the company and they were extremely approachable. Everyone is friendly and it is a really stress free environment.
Extremely well. We had training sessions and projects set up for us which enabled us to quickly find our feet.
We were given specific and relevant training which was well structured and beneficial.

I have accepted my Graduate offer, so I am obviously biased in thinking that company offers a bright and varied future.
The Culture
I got to know a fair few of the other interns in both the London and Reigate offices. Everyone was lovely and I am still in contact with a few of them. We had a few really enjoyable socials
Close to zero as I live very close to Reigate
Reigate nightlife is limited but London is just down the road.
I played football, rounders and participated in a quiz during my time so I guess it was pretty good!
