  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really enjoyed the placement, the work was interesting and there was a good mix of presentations, working in departments and group project work.

  • Everyone at the firm was approachable and seemed appreciative of the work we were doing both within departments and for our business project.

  • My supervisors were all very supportive and always happy to answer any questions.

  • Fairly busy, I always had plenty of work to be doing in my department and our group business project also kept us busy.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Quite a high degree of responsibility, some of the work I undertook I felt really contributed to the work of the departments.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • This was a really useful insight into life as a trainee solicitor and I feel I have learnt alot about the law itself and how this is applied to business in practice. The group business project was also a great experience in terms of developing teamwork and organisational skills.

  • The atmosphere within the office was both friendly and relaxed, as well as hard working.

  • Really well organised, there was a really interesting variety of activities.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The firm really tried to give us an insight into the life of an RPC trainee and so I felt we were given a great deal of responsibilty and a variety of tasks to do to develop useful skills.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • The work at the firm was challenging, interesting and varied, with the people being very approachable and enthusiastic about their work. This makes the firm an ideal place to work.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The firm had a great work/ife balance, which was reflected in the events organised for us, such as the London Eye drinks.

  • Yes we had a number of drinks evenings and buffet lunches.
