  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I really enjoyed my placement

    • I was always made to feel valued by all members of the company including senior staff

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • The placement manager was very hands on with giving us support and guidance, any issues or problems that arose were dealt with quickly efficiently, and in a friendly manor

    • In times when I had not much work to do I was able to use my time to learn other areas and I was able to utilise my network of colleagues to experiences other projects

    • I was given enough responsibility to feel valued but not too much that I couldn't cope

    • I will carry a lot of thing I have learnt into my degree and future career, I have benefitted greatly from this experience

    • Extremely efficient, we always had control over our work

    • The company spent a lot on investing into our training and development, it was seen as a priority

    • Very appealing I am considering taking a full time roll

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Yes, some organised official events such as trips to the London eye, tickets to the lion king were great. We also did lots of events that were not organised by management

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • It was more expensive than I am used to in Manchester, down in Brighton however you get what you pay for and the wages are great

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

    • I had a great summer in Brighton partly because of the nightlife I expect I will move there permanently

    • Sports activities, social events, community aid there was plenty.
