    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Great for development and training. You will learn how to run a business, managing each aspect from sales to staffing levels. A week does involve a lot of work but it will fly by.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • My work collegues were great, always praising a good job and helpful when I needed assistance.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Management at my Branch (Gatwick) were great and so were the head office staff. They treated you with great respect.

    5/5

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was running the branch on many occasions. They really trusted me.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I am happy I did my placement at Enterprise, they do invest heavily in training and take it very seriously. I was treated exactly the same as permanent members of staff which really made me feel part of the team.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Great atmosphere, lots of friendly banter but at the same time professional when the time required. The office was very busy which was stressful at times but great at other times.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Regular training sessions and personal mentor meetings. Also promotional criteria set out to be achieved.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Provided me with a hotel for training at head office and travel expenses to get there, also a food allowance. Spent a lot of time on training at head office, especially on customer service. They spend the same amount of time on students/interns as they do on their permanent members of staff.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Company Parties/Events

    Healthcare from home

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I have already been invited to return after I graduate.

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • I joined with three other interns so the social scene was great. Went out for meals, some paid for by the branch. There was a couple of Enterprise nights out and if you are a top sales employee you are taken on a day out called an 'elite' day all paid for.

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • loads of charity work to do for Enterprise outside of work.
