  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Got to interact with almost all the people on the Floor. Attended a breakfast event with Head of Markets. Learnt a great deal about Financial markets.

  • People are generally busy on the floors but are very approachable.

  • Had different buddies for different desk, whom you can approach for any problem and person from recruitment was also in constant touch.

  • Super Busy.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Had a 5 day training, covering all the theoretical concepts for markets in all asset classes. Not everybody gets a chance to be on the trading floor and dynamic nature of markets wont only teach you about the practical aspect of Markets but also about life.

  • People spend around 12hrs a day with each other, hence they make it fun.

  • Everything was organised from travel to accommodation to networking events.

  • We shared good camaraderie as used to meet a lot after office hours to catch a drink.

  • Was in Central London, everything is pretty expensive there.
