The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Data Intelligence Analyst - Industrial Placement you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Collaborating within a team of DI analysts on business requests
• Designing, developing, and delivering Microsoft Power BI dashboards that allows users to make data driven decisions.
• Building optimized data models that support Power BI dashboard requirements by integrating data from enterprise data warehouses, cloud platform, and external sources.
• Working as part of an Agile Scrum Team including daily collaboration, project prioritisation and peer reviews.
• Sharing solutions and collaborating with the broader 3M analytics, data intelligence, and technical community.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• You will be currently undertaking a Bachelors’ degree in IT-related subjects with a year in industry.
• Beginner to Intermediate proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Some experience of working with Power BI to visualise data
• Excel and power query experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Some experience developing using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
• Beginner to Intermediate proficiency in PowerApps development and Power Automate development
• Experience working with Webi, Teradata and Snowflake
• Self-motivation with strong organisation skills and a ‘can do’ spirit.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good at multi-tasking and time management
