WHAT THE PROGRAMME INVOLVES
Centrica is the UK’s leading energy, services and solutions company. We keep millions of homes and businesses running and are working hard to transform the energy sector, so it’s fit for the future. Join us, on our Year in Industry programme, and you can gain a unique insight into our business, seeing first-hand what it takes to drive changes and deliver for our customers and our people. This year long placement could see you work within any of our brands and business functions. You could gain valuable experience working in Operations, in Transformational Change Delivery, in HR, or in Procurement.
The programme will take a lot of hard work and initiative on your part. In return you’ll develop a broad set of career-boosting skills and experience in analysis, strategy, delivery, stakeholder management and more. You will also have the chance to earn a place on our 2024 Graduate programme following your final year of university, based on your performance while on the Year in Industry Programme.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- We’re looking for students who have a genuine desire to lead, along with customer focus, a passion for collaboration and a continuous improvement mindset.
- You also need to meet the following requirements:
- Expecting a 2:1 degree (2:2 if combined with a Master’s)
- Right to work in the UK
- Free to start your Year in Industry placement on 1st July 2022
- Looking to start your Graduate career in 2024
