Internal Firm Services Work Placement

Our purpose focuses on how we contribute to society, and how our business decisions can contribute to greater trust and solving important problems. In order to achieve our purpose and deliver a first-class service to our clients, we need first-class support internally. The people who power us – our internal teams – have a vital role to make sure we have all the right resources, services and technology to be the best we can be. Not all of us work directly with external clients. Some of our most talented people choose to harness their skills inside of PwC.

Immigration

Compliance is at the core of what we do, one aspect of this is immigration. Immigration rules and Brexit are high on the political agenda, making UK Immigration a fast paced, ever changing environment, with laws becoming increasingly restrictive. The UK firm's Immigration Team, a team of six, is part of the wider Firms tax team, and they play a pivotal role across the firm, ensuring the firm’s obligations with respect to UK immigration laws are met whilst supporting the firm’s strategic mobility and resourcing objectives.

The immigration role has key responsibilities in the reporting and management of our sponsor obligations and involves a great degree of project management. It is an exciting role with opportunity to develop technical knowledge and skills in the field and work closely with a range of stakeholder groups in Human Capital (HC) and our Legal team to embed and improve immigration processes. This placement will be challenging, exciting, fast-paced and most of all rewarding.
