Sustainability Analyst Placement

Join a fun and flexible workplace where you’ll enhance your skills and build a solid professional foundation. As a Sustainability Analyst Intern you will:

  • Work with stakeholders at different levels across the business (i.e., sustainability office, real estate and facilities, procurement, supply chain, corporate citizenship) to support Oracle’s sustainability projects and contribute to new projects to help drive sustainable impact.
  • Support data collection and analysis for our sustainability reporting (i.e., GHG inventory, supplier surveys).
  • Play an active role within our green teams community, helping to drive engagement, inclusion and belonging (i.e. support global campaigns to our employees, newsletters, quarterly meetings).
  • Research sustainability topics and market and legislative trends and providing the team and/or stakeholders in the wider business with best practice recommendations.
  • Help develop content, marketing collateral, newsletters, blogs and presentations to internal account teams and external customers.
  • Support event management including annual sustainability summit, customers roundtables and workshops.

You’ll be excited by the thought of:

  • Getting hands on experience understanding our technology can enable businesses to transition to a low carbon economy.
  • Working globally with sites and teams across the Oracle network and providing guidance and support to the different business functions.
  • Being part of a large student community and getting involved in organising events, taking advantage of training in both technical and soft skills, and volunteering.

There will be opportunities for you to take on a variety of additional projects over the course of your placement.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Undergraduate students completing a university placement programme
  • Strong communication, analytical and writing skills
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data, synthesise conclusions and recommendations, and share these in a concise manner
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work, with a high level of initiative
  • Ability to build good working relationships
  • Collaborative and natural team player
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at once and work flexibly when urgent matters arise
  • A passion for sustainability and social responsibility
  • Self-sufficient and encompasses the ability to work with minimal direct day-to-day supervision
