Business Operational Support Industrial Placement

Job Overview

Operational support industrial placement will report into the Operations Lead as part of their 12-month placement. Day to day tasks will include:

  • Planning,
  • Forecasting,
  • Creating reports,
  • Monitoring,
  • Continuous improvement

This role is the perfect opportunity to learn in a fast-paced, complex, machining, and special processes environment. The area manufactures complex machined parts using 3,4 and 5 axis machines, CMM programming and measuring, assembly and testing, and a full range of Special Processes.

Personal Characteristics/ Qualifications

  • Degree or working towards grade 2:1 or above
  • Good communication skills,
  • Good interpersonal skills,
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team,
  • Motived to achieve shared goals,
  • Enthusiastic,
  • Competent Microsoft skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook),
  • Microsoft Project.
