Digital Technology Infrastructure Industrial Placement

Job Overview

The Digital Technology Industrial Placement will support the implementation of Digital Technology projects across the Wolverhampton facility. Deal with end users queries to ensure Business As Usual, support compliance adherence, and liaise with key stake holders and business partners to support overall Digital Transformation.

Project Management Support of major Technology projects including:

  • Software upgrades
  • New platform introduction
  • Compliance projects
  • Infrastructure changes
  • Cost Reduction
  • Develop key project status metrics to site DT Manager and the end user community as required
  • Liaise with Value Streams and Functions to understand and deliver customer led improvement projects
  • Assist with conducting events and presentations to validate business processes and solutions
  • Ensure all systems and infrastructure is compliant with RTX/Collins policy
  • Assist with compliance improvement opportunities
  • Assist with DT process improvement opportunities
  • Support the local DT Team with delivery of projects

Qualifications

  • Working towards an IT related bachelor’s degree
  • High aptitude for working with excel to analyse and manipulate data
  • A keen interest in IT
