PR & Communications Industrial Placement

About the role:

Working in the agency, you will help us to communicate our brand messaging in the most elevated manner. This may include liaising day to day on specific products or assisting with large-scale events. In this role, your principal accountability would be to provide support to the team and brands as a whole, ensuring the smooth running of day to day business. You would be responsible for your own projects and will work with everyone within the business.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Managing product mail-outs
• Management of media lists
• Handling press call ins & liaising with journalists and influencers
• Monitoring newspapers, magazines and online media for brand coverage to be saved and shared.
• Researching wider brand opportunities to support current outreach
• Researching and helping with brand event organisation
• Maintaining brand and office supplies

In order to be successful in this role you will need to have:

• An interest in beauty, fashion and/or lifestyle
• A passion to learn more about traditional and digital communications
• A drive to understand the bigger business picture
• Have a technical mind but keen to work within the heart of a business
• Strong networking skills and ability to represent Blanket when helping with client events.
• Excellent written, verbal and PC skills

Please note that this role is based full time at our office in Covent Garden.
