Throughout your 6-week internship you’ll gain invaluable knowledge and skills as well as exposure to BDO and our people, which could lead to an offer of a graduate role.

You’ll explore different specialisms within your stream and contribute to a range of client projects. This will allow you to expand your portfolio of skills and experience a breadth of opportunity. You will receive extensive training as part of your induction week including specific stream training, information on professional qualifications and workshops specially designed to introduce you to our values and the importance of wellbeing. Applying the knowledge you have learnt about the firm you will also contribute to a group project throughout the internship with peers from different areas of the business.

The Business Services Outsourcing (BSO) team are essential to meeting our clients' changing needs. As well as delivering long-term, sustainable value to businesses by providing solutions such as accounting, payroll and compliance services, they also play a key role in helping our teams around the world collaborate. The team helps international clients manage their accounting needs by drawing on BDO’s expertise and investing in processes, systems and people to solve a huge range of challenges. The programme offers the opportunity to develop in one of the industry’s most exciting and varied roles. If you can show initiative and the potential for exceptional problem-solving skills, you’ll gain a unique insight into how business works across the world.

• A university student in their penultimate year of university
• A predicted 2:2 degree in any discipline
• Three A-levels or equivalent at A* to C excluding General Studies and Extended Projects (obtained or predicted)
• A 9 – 4 in Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent (we will also consider qualifications from outside the UK)
