Mergers & Acquisitions Vacation Programme

On this four week programme, you can expect variety. We’re involved in the whole deal cycle, so you’ll be undertaking client-facing work, providing advice and adding value at every stage. You could be part of a team advising a company on a merger, how to turn a struggling business around, or how to see a new acquisition through successfully.

You’ll face plenty of new challenges, but we’ll give you the support of a buddy and a manager to make you feel at home. You’ll take part in some great community activities and have the opportunity to meet new people. Above all, you’ll gain experience on real-time, real-life projects, and if successful, potentially secure a graduate offer.

What is Deal Advisory?

We help our clients to buy, sell, fund, fix and partner with confidence, taking them from an initial idea right through to delivery. It's all about blending our deep sector expertise with our execution skills and working with teams from the wider firm to help each client make the right decisions. You’ll have access to advanced technologies, which deliver deeper insights for our clients.

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) is a fast-paced area of our Deal Advisory business, focused on adding value to our clients by providing a full range of financial advisory services across several industries and sectors.

Training and benefits

This programme offers the perfect opportunity to find out what it’s like to work for a leading professional services firm whilst gaining valuable practical experience and kick-starting your career. You’ll learn about the world of work, enhance your CV and start building those all-important professional networks.

Your qualifications

You’ll need to be in your penultimate year at university and have, or be on course to achieve, a minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline. We will however look at more than just your academic results and will also consider your strengths, values and motivations. See our ‘How to Apply’ sections on our Careers Portal for further guidance.
