Marketing - Working in our Pan European or Local Marketing functions, you will deliver our market leading consumer and professional products across Europe. The actions you take as a marketer at Sony aim to inspire the consumer but we're confident it will inspire you too.

Within the different marketing teams, we offer six exciting intern roles. In those roles, you could be involved within marketing campaigns, product trainings, online marketing communication and / or social media.

Social Media Intern (Professional Solutions Europe – B2B)

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Organising, image-sourcing and using social media scheduling tools for creating posts for Business Group content (Healthcare and Media Solutions)
  • Executing campaigns provided on Social channels (YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram).
  • Engaging with audiences over social platforms.
  • Assisting Social Media Managers with research for operational documents, channel closures and openings and strategic proposals where necessary.
  • Media & Consumer Insight Assistant (European Media & Insight Team)

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning and delivery of multi-touchpoint, cross-channel media campaigns for up to 30 pan-European markets.
  • Review the in-campaign performance of Sony products across our cameras, speakers, headphones, soundbars and TV product ranges across all digital channels (Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, Instagram, VOD, Display and Paid Search).
  • Assist with planning inputs for paid search campaigns such as adcopy and keywords.
  • Frequent communication with media and insights agencies to ensure campaigns and projects are delivered on time.
  • Visiting key media owners (eg. Facebook, Google, YouTube etc) for workshops on research studies and best practice
  • Consumer Insight into the way consumers are buying and using our products.
  • Marketing Assistant Media Solutions (PSE Media Solutions)

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Assist the Campaign Marketing Managers to plan, deliver and report on communication campaigns.
  • Support strategic planning, brand activities the delivery of campaigns (through digital, online, social and PR channels) and consumer events (national and international).
  • Creation, management and publication of creative assets and content.
  • Managing campaign leads and budget management support.
  • Digital publishing
  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Video production support
  • Image and video asset management
  • Marketing Assistant (Pan-European Digital Imaging Marketing Department)

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Demo / loan product and Sample management.
  • Managing products based and operating from 3rd party agency.
  • Assist with trainings.
  • Create online tests track test results.
  • Track new model launches.
  • Occasional market data analysis.
  • Ambassador pool database management.
  • Running and maintaining reports through analytical tools on a monthly basis.
  • Competition ambassador share of voice analysis updates.
  • Influencer marketing/Ambassador reporting tool and reporting file optimisation.
  • Event preparation and support (depending if events are resumed)
  • Digital Imaging (DI) and Mobile Category Support (UK Product Marketing Team)

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Event support (TPS, Ambassador events, Roadshows, etc).
  • Sample logistics support.
  • Involvement in cross-DI-category activities (e.g. taskforce topic and agenda collation, etc).
  • Alpha universe uploads.
  • Cashback escalation support.
  • BCM support.
  • Brand activation support and admin.
  • Trade Segment & Marketing Communications Intern (Professional Display and Solutions)

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Support Trade and Segment marketing and communications teams within Sony Professional Displays and Solutions (PDS) business.
  • Help manage and support our customer base and generate opportunities with the use of sales tools and marketing communications.
  • Social media content creation, email communications, website and partner portal content development, event support and general marketing administration.
  • Write, give briefs and manage projects from start to finish.
  • Create Sales tools and manage incoming sales leads.
  • Attend regular team meetings give input when required.
  • Take responsibility for sales and marketing activities and projects /events.
  • Support tradeshows across Europe.
  • Work closely with the segment managers to support the insight preparation.

Your profile:

  • An enthusiastic fast learner studying a marketing, advertising or business-related degree
  • Language: English (fluent), any additional language is a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team player and ability to work independently
  • Good analytical skills
  • A keen interest in digital marketing and technology and an avid social media user with knowledge of different social channels is considered a plus
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Inc Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • An assertive individual with a willingness to help wherever required and an inquisitive attitude to learn more

Our Recruitment Process:

The job posting will be open until 21st of December 2021. The selected candidates will be invited to perform a video interview during December & January.

The shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an assessment center for these six roles specifically in the first half of February in our office (or virtually).
