SHIFT: Monday- Friday 8:30am- 4:30pm

What will you be doing:

In this role you will provide support to the European Manufacturing Organisation on a wide range of finance activities and projects. Activities will include providing support with transactional process, reporting and analysis as well as projects to meet the needs of an innovative high-tech manufacturing business. You will gain experience in the following areas:

• Manufacturing cost accounting
• Capital expenditure projects
• Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
• Research and development
• Inventory management
• Financial reporting under US GAAP
• Month End Close process
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations

You will be part of a high performing finance team that values inclusion and diversity and has continuous improvement, compliance and adding value at the core of everything we do.

What skills and experience should you have?

We are looking for someone with high levels of computer literacy and intermediate/advanced excel skills. Good data handling skills, project management skills and attention to details. The ideal candidate would be confident and proactive to be able to manage multiple tasks and contribute to new improvements. The candidate should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience/Education

• Ideally candidates should be interested in the different areas of Finance and should be studying for a Finance, Economics, Accounting or a closely related business degree, and plan on pursuing a career in a related field.
• Basic knowledge of credits and debits with some knowledge of Bookkeeping is desirable.
