About the Bright Futures Programme

We’re looking to recruit undergraduates with flair and motivation to join our Bright Futures programme, offering you a huge amount of invaluable business experience. At Pernod Ricard you can actually make an impact, and many of our placement students have returned to Pernod Ricard.

Placements will commence in June 2022, and will be based in our West London offices on Chiswick Business Park. We offer a fantastic package including £18,000 salary, generous annual leave entitlement and a product allowance to spend on our brands.

About the team

The IT department ensures Pernod Ricard UK has the reliable IT systems it requires to do business. The department is split into two teams:

1. The IT Operations team provide a helpdesk support service to all staff, troubleshooting all hardware all standard Microsoft based office software. The team also manage the local data centre ensuring maximum availability of all systems.

2. The Business Solutions team's role is to develop strong relationships with key users, in order to build and support user friendly and highly functional solutions. The team also manages relationships with external parties responsible for key systems.

About your role

Working as part of the North-West Europe Front office project delivery team to provide a professional, courteous, and efficient IT service to our business users. The ideal candidate should have an interest in technology, data, project change management used by various departments across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Active involvement in IT delivery projects. Usually, to deploy managed applications to various departments to countries in our North West hub on time, to budget and scope.
• Working in vibrant IT delivery team that work closely with multiple application Centre of excellences.
• Engage and work with business teams elicit business requirements and define the business solutions efficiencies & solutions
• Manage project meetings and communicating flow to project stakeholders
• Working with multiple countries for maximum exposure to systems, processes, and ways of working
• Providing both first and second-line application support to the North West Europe IT solutions team

What do we require?

• Be studying a recognised sandwich undergraduate degree
• Be studying a relevant undergraduate degree such as Information Technology or Computer Science
• Be on track to achieve 2:1 or above
• Be available to work for 12 months
