HR Placement

Our Human Resources department here at Volkswagen Financial Services works closely with all areas of the business to support them in delivering the people strategy within their functional areas. Our purpose is to enable high performance, potential and reputation to ensure VWFS is recognised as the best automotive finance company in the UK.

With 3 placements available across the department, joining us will give you understanding and experience of how a HR department works to support the business. You’ll have real responsibility and add value to the team in whichever placement you choose.

Resourcing

Working within and supporting the Resourcing team, you will provide co-ordination support for Recruitment activities with the opportunity to support some key projects including the Early Careers recruitment process.

Learning & Development

Specifically supporting our L&D team, you will be included in a range of learning and development activities that ensures our colleagues have access to the very best training, courses and tools to enable their development

HR Operations

Within this role, you will have the opportunity to work across a couple of specialist areas providing support on key and topical Talent and Employee Relations (ER) projects and initiatives. You will gain valuable exposure and involvement in a broad range of HR activities including employment tribunal preparation, Diversity & Inclusion, talent development and workforce planning.

About you:

• You will be studying towards an HR or Business related degree
• Able to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders both verbally and in writing
• You will need a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• You have great organisational skills with the ability to deal with a large variety of tasks in a busy environment
• You have the opportunity to use your own initiative to answer questions and solve queries
• Ability to analyse and interpret data and present it in a way that engages audiences at all levels
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
