Business and Systems Analyst Placement

The Business and Systems Analyst intern will work as part of a team to help provide support to the EMEA Client Computing Group Sales (CCGS) team to capture and analyse retailer sales data. The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring that the data is captured in a timely and accurate manner within our databases
  • Supporting the team with project system implementation and user acceptance testing
  • Developing and owning reporting packages for management and sales teams
  • Creation of project documentation and training packages

At the end of your internship you will have gained valuable skills and experience working for a dynamic innovative technology leader.

Qualifications

This is a 13-month fixed-term placement suitable for students currently studying a degree course in a relevant discipline e.g. IT Management for Business, Business, Finance, Mathematics, and is targeted at 2nd year students enrolled in a 4 years bachelor's degree which includes a year in industry (or equivalent).

Additional skills required include;

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, advanced competency with Excel required, PowerPoint and Power BI would be an added advantage
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and responsive manner
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a self-directed environment - motivated self-starter
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to deliver tasks with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and proactively find solutions
  • Detail orientated
  • Commercial business acumen
  • Ability to work well in a diverse/ virtual team environment
  • Ability to adapt quickly when faced with new situations and new people.
  • ndidates must be based in the United Kingdom upon the start date of this internship, and for its entire duration. We are unable to support remote working from outside the UK.
