Your Responsibilities

  • Support the Group Manager in ensuring that local and corporate policies/procedures and regulations, as well as local laws concerning Health and Safety (occupational safety) and Business Continuity (Resilience) are implemented across the GB & Ireland
  • Develop an awareness of across all sites ensuring local responsibility
  • Undertake internal audits and inspections of operational risks
  • Maintain operational risk register analysis against incident information
  • Analyze key management information and reports, identify, extract and produce any ‘trend’ or ‘Red Flag’ areas for escalation to key stakeholders
  • Help to promote and audit, Safety (Occupational Health & Safety), Resilience (Business Continuity and Risk Management) and process (Policy and Procedure) best practice across GB & Ireland functions including:
  • Help build the new measure of Travel and Event security compliance throughout GB & Ireland

Your profile

  • Successful completion of years 1 & 2 of an Honours Degree in Business Management – Business Resilience/ Risk/ Emergency Planning/ Disaster Management Health and Safety or similar with an end of year result or predicted result of 2:1 or above
  • BTEC Diploma Business studies
  • Delegating tasks effectively and following up on actions plans
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with a number of different, complex tasks simultaneously
  • Assessing situations, recognizing difficulties and determining the action needed to achieve a successful outcome
  • Communicating effectively through various media and with various audiences at all levels
