Network Performance is an integral a part of the BMW UK sales operation. The department’s role is to support the business with the very latest digital systems and sales improvement programmes. Working together in a creative and friendly environment we carry out the following core activities.

  • Design and operate online sales platforms enabling customers to choose & buy their next car at home.
  • Develop the next generation of digital systems & tools to give our customers a great experience throughout the whole purchase journey.
  • Monitor and report on the customer experience across our retail network.
  • Produce and deliver innovative coaching & personal development programmes to support our retailer network.

What will you be doing?

  • Work with the team to provide a comprehensive suite of sales channel reporting and business insights. This includes pro-actively seeking out and implementing new or improved solutions.
  • Explore correlations between key performance indicators, identify opportunities for retailer performance improvements. Deliver monthly and yearly achievement projections.
  • Support the national mystery shopping programmes for both MINI and BMW brands. Collect feedback on the use of sales tools and enquiry handling. Support programme reporting dashboards.
  • Create content for the National Retailer Communications Portal. Coordinate department newsletters.
  • Design and deliver adhoc reports and presentations for use across the department & wider the company.
  • Deep dive analysis of customer sales enquiries; identify trends and performance variance across the retail network.
  • Track all online vehicle sales made by the BMW/MINI brands and provide daily reporting to the senior management team.
  • The department is often at the front of new initiatives within the industry. There may be the opportunity to be involved in special projects and potentially link back to your own studies or interests.

Qualifications

Qualifications and experience.
The role would be most suitable to a candidate who is currently completing a degree in Management, Business or Retail studies.
Previous experience working within a retail or customer facing environment would be welcomed.

  • A well rounded individual who has a good mix of numerical and creative skills.
  • An ability to draw out intelligent conclusions from various data sources.
  • Not afraid to propose innovative solutions.
  • Can manage multiple deadlines and tasks plus taking responsibility for their own time management.
  • Well organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Useful to have a driving licence and vehicle, but not essential to fulfilling the role.
  • Strong IT skills required in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Team player, helpful, can-do attitude.
