Finance Analyst Placement

As part of the Finance team, you'll have a wide array of responsibilities which may include but are not limited to:

  • Providing business analysis and recommendations to an operating group on topics like pricing, ROI, cost reduction and expense controls, credit and collections.
  • Perform financial and operational audits to enhance internal controls and operational process improvements.
  • Provide recommendations for designing and implementing next generation systems for management reporting tools and systems.
  • And specifically in the tax and trade organisations, being involved in the preparation and filing of tax documents or in providing support to the import and export of Intel's products.
  • Collaborating on cross-regional Finance projects.

The bottom-line is that your work will have an important influence in driving Intel's profitable growth.

We have a number of positions across Finance covering all the major functions, with the potential to return in a graduate position after successful completion of your final year studies.

During the assessment process we will give you an opportunity to express any preference you may have with regards to the different functions in Corporate Finance & Accounting Operations Finance including Sales Finance and Marketing Finance, Tax, Collections, Trade and Credit.

Qualifications

This is a 13 month fixed-term placement suitable for students currently studying a degree course in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, and is targeted at 2nd year students enrolled in a 4 years bachelor's degree which includes a year in industry (or equivalent). The ideal candidate should be curious to learn, build acumen and be fearless.

Essential:

  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Competence in Mathematics
  • Excel and PowerPoint experience

Preferable:

  • Knowledge and experience in SAP, PowerBI and Python is a plus.

Candidates must be based in the United Kingdom upon the start date of this internship, and for its duration. We are unable to support remote working from outside the UK.
