You will partner closely with members across multiple geographies and capability areas, understanding how technology plays an important part in the success of our organisation. As a JJT placement student you will enjoy a dynamic role in a fast paced, innovative and ground breaking environment.

As an IT placement student in our business, you could work in 2 different areas:

  • Strategy, Portfolio and Project Office
  • Business Technology – EMEA or Northern Europe

Strategy, Portfolio and Project Office Analyst:
The IT Strategy, Portfolio and Project Analyst Placement will work within our Consumer Health IT as a core team member supporting the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) region. The successful candidate will work alongside the Strategy, Portfolio and Project Office manager to drive and deliver effective and efficient project management. This is accomplished through the application of standard tools and processes, ultimately with the goal of improving and streamlining project management and enabling the shift to agile ways of working.

Working mainly virtually with teams and business partners around the world, you will have exposure to a wide variety of projects and the opportunity to form relationships across a broad range of project teams, providing training and coaching to project managers to ensure they are set up for success. You will be responsible for ensuring that project teams are utilising the processes and tools to optimally manage scope, schedule, financials and resources.

This is a phenomenal opportunity to gain a detailed immersion into project management within the IT space and will require someone who can demonstrate effective communication and personable skills to engage with key decision-takers to keep projects moving forward.

Business Technology:

The Business Technology Placement will partner with senior and experienced leaders in the EMEA or Northern Europe region on projects and initiatives that enable a smarter, agile, and collaborative way of working within the organisation. You will work closely with the business to drive strategic outcomes through effective utilisation of technology, whilst gaining exposure to organisational tools and ways of working over the placement year.

We believe that experience crafting innovative technology solutions, agile ways of working, intellectual curiosity, and leading small delivery teams are essential to enable you to be successful. Furthermore, it is important that you are a natural collaborator, who has the leadership presence to influence results and build a solid sense of collective team engagement. We want to see you become a passionate and proven leader with the ability to gain business partner agreement, communicate confidently at both the technical and project team level, and collaborate with a variety of technical and non-technical teams.

You will develop your leadership skillset around relationship management, project/program management, business process/analysis, quality and compliance. Alongside working on projects this role will guide you in seeing the bigger picture, not just what we do, but why we do things as a company.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your hands on experience within a technology role and help drive an consumer-obsessed agile culture!
