Business & Marketing Placements - 2022 Intake
We have over 20 placement students each year at our Hazelwood site near Derby across business science and engineering roles, with the following opportunities in our business areas in 2022|23.
Marketing | Business Support Student Placement
As a Marketing and Business placement student you will be working closely with both Industrial and Driveline business areas to meet the marketing needs of both our internal and external customers.
You will be responsible for providing market research services for product managers and working with them to improve our market knowledge on specific products and industries. As well as this, you will be involved in developing promotional and marketing materials to highlight and differentiate selected products whilst also coordinating technical documents ensuring consistency within Lubrizol. You will also be the primary contact in Europe for administration co-ordination and publishing key internal marketing and business support documents.
Global Communications | Business Support Student Placement
As a student within the Creative Services/Global Communications team, you will be working in a global team of skilled professionals with colleagues around the world from commercial and manufacturing to corporate communications and charities. This role is extremely diverse and full of new and exciting experiences; In the morning you may be bench-marking pricing of our products or building on our extensive image library and by the afternoon you may be in conference calls with another part of the world or on location with our video and drone crews. No two days are the same in our team and we are looking for somebody to meet the challenges of a fast paced, busy and eclectic environment.
Marketing Placement
Differentiated marketing is an essential part of ensuring Lubrizol’s position as a recognised technology leader within the speciality chemicals field and allows us to fulfil our vision of making our customers more successful than our non-customers. Working in our Marketing department, you will have the opportunity to make your mark and have ownership and exposure to projects both regionally and globally, getting involved in product and brand focused commercial activities supporting both new and existing products in the marketplace.
