Network Operations Placement

This is a Placement Year position for a candidate currently studying a Business-related Undergraduate degree at University, seeking a placement for their 3rd year. The role will commence in August 2022. Please ensure that you have read and understood the requirements of the role before applying.

Job Purpose:

To provide support to the Operations Department, including the Manager, Network Operations, Network Operations Analyst, Regional Manager Team, and Vehicle Planning Team - through report running, presentation production, administration, and organisation. To do weekly and monthly reporting on Sales figures and other key KPIs throughout the business. To support on projects where required.

Core Specific Responsibilities:

Field Team support

  • Provide support to the Manager, Network Operations, Analyst, Network Operations and Regional Manager team with timely and accurate data regarding the Porsche Centre network.
  • To assist with the production and distribution of core monthly performance reports regarding New Car performance including registrations, order intake, allocation and logistics.
  • To assist the Analyst, Network Operations in providing analytical and administrational support to the Network Operations team on order bank & stock data, new car registrations, used car performance & residual tracking, parts sales performance through using systems such as SAP, DeltaMaster, PVMS and network financial performance / KPI’s through the Porsche KPI-System (IRIS).
  • To assist with the Operating Guidelines measurement, scoring and management of the Porsche Centre network order bank.
  • Upload communications to PPN (Porsche Intranet) and upload of monthly reporting to individual Porsche Centre reporting groups.
  • Assist with preparation of business presentations e.g. Board Meetings, Sales Meetings, Performance Updates and other meetings on an ad hoc basis.
  • To assist with new car stock and funding management of Porsche Centre Dublin.
  • hicle Allocation and Ordering
  • To assist with the management and reporting of the vehicle allocation process to the Porsche Centre network and the replication into the Porsche vehicle system (PVMS).
  • To assist with the ordering and production scheduling of launch vehicles and national stock, as well as the management of quota ordering deadlines.
  • To provide administrative and analytical support in the vehicle allocation process to both the Manager, Network Operations and Regional Manager team.
  • To work with the Vehicle Planning department as necessary with regard to new car volume planning and allocation management using PVMS.
  • SAP Invoicing
  • Assist with the online invoicing process for Network Operations including raising of purchase orders and processing invoices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Studying a Business Management, Economics, Finance or similarly related Undergraduate degree at University, seeking a placement for their 3rd year
  • 3 A-levels (grades A-C)

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially strong Microsoft Excel skills

Those who pass the first stage will be offered a telephone interview on either 18th or 19th January 2022. The final stage of the process will be an assessment centre on 9th February 2022, after which the successful candidate will be notified.
