Spring Into Quant Finance 2022
Join G-Research’s spring insights week and learn what it takes to become a successful quant at a major quantitative finance business.
Insights week
Spring into Quant Finance is G-Research’s week-long residential programme, hosted in the 2022 Easter holidays, that provides students with an introduction to the world of quantitative finance.
Hosted at a 5* hotel in the countryside just outside of London, successful applicants will:
Hear talks on different aspects of the industry
- Undertake specialised training in cutting-edge areas of ML, data science and finance
- Speak with our CEO and Head of Research
- Network with our quantitative researchers
- Receive a £750 stipend and have all expenses paid
- At the end of the week, you will have developed a clear idea of what it means to work in quantitative finance, learnt sought-after skills, and built a valuable professional network.
Someone once said, however, that all work and no play is not optimal. So with exclusive use of a luxury hotel, there will be all sorts of fun events and activities in the itinerary, plus use of the hotel’s extensive facilities and grounds. And of course, all food, drink and travel is taken care of – this will include dinner in the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant.
After the insights week
All participants will be offered a fast-track pathway into G-Research’s 2023 summer internship. You will also have a big head-start on peers as and when you are ready to transition from academia to business.
Who should apply?
We welcome applications from students from around the world. You should be in the penultimate or final year of your undergraduate degree, undertaking a Master’s, or in the first or second year of your PhD. You should be studying a technical or quantitative subject such as mathematics, machine learning, physics, statistics, engineering, or computer science.
When can I apply?
Applications are now open. There is a rolling deadline but due to high demand we encourage those interested to apply early. We anticipate all places being filled by the end of the year.
