Financing Solutions Internship
About the business
Financing Solutions provides debt financing, risk solutions and first class advisory services for UK and European corporate and private equity clients. The activities will cover a broad range of bank, private and public market distribution in the UK, European and US markets.
We cover a broad range of specialisms, including but not limited to acquisition financing for a wide spectrum of companies and private equity, specialist asset-backed financing, leveraged buyouts, infrastructure financing and project finance for greenfield renewable energy projects.
About the programme
Our aim is to give you a taste of what it’s like to work here, along with valuable experience to help guide your career choices.
We’ll reward you with a starting salary of £21,500.
The programme starts with an induction, where you’ll learn about the bank, meet your fellow interns, and get the chance to talk with colleagues from around our business.
You’ll then begin a unique eight week placement, where you’ll get involved with our live day to day work, and take part in a business project. This will give you the opportunity to complete research on a topic and come up with recommendations for improvement or change to support our ambitions.
During the programme, you’ll also work on a Social Impact Project. This will help you to develop keys skills covering team working, planning, creative thinking, business plan writing and problem solving, all while contributing to a valuable cause.
For the full eight weeks, we’ll pair you with a ‘buddy’ and a line manager, who’ll help you grow your network and provide guidance and support.
At the end of the placement, we’ll assess you on what you’ve learned. Complete this successfully, and you’ll be offered a place on our 2023 Financing Solutions graduate programme, where you’ll carry the skills you’ve learned from your internship forward, taking the next exciting step in your career.
