About your Internship

Join us and you will be an integral part of our team. Over 9-10 intensive weeks you will experience what it’s like to work for our international bank. You will go through two job rotations and gain a wide range of practical experience. During your internship, you will also benefit from training courses, seminars and a variety of networking events. Successful interns will be invited to join the Deutsche Bank Graduate Programme.

About Group Audit

The Group Audit (GA) function has over 700 staff located in our four hub locations: New York, London, Frankfurt, Singapore as well as 26 other countries. The hallmarks of our professional, business focused, proactive risk-based work are transparency, integrity and independence. We assist the bank’s businesses and infrastructure functions to identify control weaknesses.

Being Deutsche Bank’s ‘third line of defence’ we have a high profile in the bank acting as an independent and forward looking challenger and adviser to Senior Management on issues and occurrences and are increasingly consulted for advice by the regulators.

The roles

Our interns are given the opportunity to learn about our business from different viewpoints, giving you a career advantage. Working on our day-to-day business as well as on special projects, you will you will learn how Group Audit plays an integral role in the achievement of the Group’s strategic goals, objectives and ethical standards as set by the Management Board. You will gain experience in different areas of our business and discover our market-leading solutions first hand. The internship is an ideal way of finding out whether a career in Group Audit meets your needs and aspirations..

Areas in which you could work

  • Providing support in preparing audits
  • Reviewing the effectiveness of internal controls in a particular division
  • Providing support in identifying and analysing existing controls

Your qualifications

We are looking for bright minds with good academic records and some practical work experience to create a positive impact for our customers.

  • Do you have an academic focus on business or natural science, particularly business administration, economics, industrial engineering, business informatics, business mathematics or commercial law?
  • Are you passionate about finance with an affinity for rules and regulations?
  • Would you be willing to travel?
  • Are you well-versed in working with MS Office and common applications?
  • Do you have strong communication skills and are you fluent in English?
  • Can you work well in a team and inspire others with your ideas?
  • Would you describe yourself as a conscientious, dedicated individual with excellent analytical skills and rapid comprehension?
