What will you be doing?

Discover EY:
Join us on one of our insight experiences and take part in panel discussions, Q&As with our people, interactive workshops and more. You’ll learn about our opportunities and could have the chance to be fast-tracked onto one of our Summer Internships. We run two programmes; Discover EY – Black Heritage in Business and Discover EY – Women in Business.

Ideal for students in their first year of university (or second year of a four-year course), or in their penultimate year of university considering their career options - please check the website for further guidance as each event varies.

Summer Internship Programmes:

Six weeks of paid work experience that offers real insights into graduate life at EY. Ideal for students in their penultimate year of university.

  • Choose a placement within Actuarial, Assurance, Consulting, Strategy and Transactions or Tax
  • Receive a structured EY induction and join a supportive and inclusive team
  • Work with technologies that inspire incredible innovations
  • Work on real client projects alongside our graduates

If everything works out well, you could even secure a job with us after you graduate.

Industrial Placement Programmes:

A one-year paid placement that gives you the opportunity to apply your knowledge and insights to the working world.

  • Choose a placement within Assurance, Business Consulting, Technology Consulting, or Tax
  • Have real responsibility on client projects from day one
  • Get a head start on your professional qualifications

Ideal if you’re studying for an honour’s degree that includes a one-year placement and in your penultimate year of university.

Are you eligible to apply?

We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will however, need to be working towards an honours degree in any subject - some programmes will require a subject relevant to the business area, have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths and three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent) to be eligible to apply.
