E-Commerce Projects Placement (Fulfillment)

This is your chance to gain real life experience within the Fulfilment sector of an ever-growing eCommerce department. You will be working amongst teams who are responsible for warehouse order management, automation enhancements and carrier management.

No two days will be the same! With our extensive range of products and increasing customer demand, you’ll be tasked to sharpen your problem-solving skills to ensure our quality company objectives are always prioritised and cost-effective solutions are maintained.

During your Placement, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a number of our external suppliers ensuring both parties consistently meet requirements, whilst being trusted to own your work area and offer suggestions for process improvements and efficiencies.

This Placement would suit students studying degrees in Operations Management, Chartered Management, Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management.

Web Product Optimisation

This placement will focus on the design, planning and delivery of changes to the eCommerce product across our responsive site and app through conversion rate optimisation testing and development projects.

Click and Collect

This Placement will focus on the all aspects of Merchandising and Customer Experience on our Click & Collect website. You will be working amongst teams that are responsible for driving sales, optimising margin and ensuring customers have an efficient and enjoyable experience when placing an order with us.

You will get the opportunity to be a part of ensuring products are launched on time, promoted through content and Merchandised effectively using various functionality. All changes are planned and monitored therefore a keen interest in data will definitely be beneficial.

Project Green

You will be working amongst teams that are responsible for driving Click & Collect sales and ensuring customers have an efficient and enjoyable experience when placing an order with us; ensuring products are launched on time, promoted through content and Merchandised effectively using various functionality.

From the moment you start at Aldi, we’ll look after you properly. You’ll get £25,375* for the 12 months you spend with us, together with 4 weeks’ holiday allowance (plus bank holidays). If the role fits, we’d love you to apply for a permanent role after you graduate.

*Based on a 50 hour contract.

To be eligible to apply, you’ll need to be working towards a 2:1 in any discipline on a sandwich degree course. You’ll also have a minimum of 96 UCAS points (240 if using the old tariff) from your top 3 A-levels (excluding general studies). Please note we also accept 63 Scottish Highers (150 points if using the old tariff) as an equivalent to UCAS points. It’s important you have the right to work in the UK. And, while you don’t require access to a car, you’ll still need a driving licence.
