Marketing Student Placement

At Lubrizol, we have a growing student community in the UK with over 30 placements each year across a number of roles. As a marketing support placement student, you will be working closely with the global marketing team and various business units within transportation and industrial to meet the marketing needs of both our internal and external customers.

What you will be doing:

• You will be involved in product and brand focused commercial activities supporting both new and existing products in the marketplace
• Providing market research services for marketing managers to improve our market knowledge on specific products, industries and customers
• You will be involved in updating and developing promotional and marketing collateral to highlight and differentiate selected products internally and for our customers
• Developing creative ideas to bring collateral to life
• Assisting with product launches and refresh campaigns
• Copywriting and proofreading

What you will need:

• Studying towards a Business or Marketing related degree involving a year in industry, achieving a 2:1 or above
• Candidates should have a keen interest in marketing communications and marketing
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office formats
• Proficient in PowerPoint to be able to create and design an impactful presentation from start to finish
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• You need to be proactive, eager to learn and be able to work well in a team environment.
