About the opportunity

An IT career has never been more relevant – and this development programme can help you get yours off to the best possible start. Working in a real role with real impact, you’ll get to shadow and learn from expert colleagues while gaining exposure to professional methodologies such as Prince 2, Lean, Agile and ITIL.

Your main responsibility will be to engage with key stakeholders across the organisation looking for ways to improve business processes. You will then work closely with IT service providers to make the change happen. Another area you will focus on is potential future technologies including virtual reality, augmented reality and virtual assistants.

We’ll assign you a mentor to help guide your development and there will be lots of opportunities for you to attend company meetings and networking events. You can also expect to work closely with members of our senior leadership team.

About you

We’re looking for people who have what it takes to thrive in a fast-paced IT environment. Some key skills you need include:

• Thinking laterally
• Evaluating and analysing data
• Communicating with people at various levels
• Working effectively both independently and within a team
• Using IT applications such as Microsoft Office
