Control Systems Engineers Placement
We're offering 12 month placements at our head office in Sheffield, for two enthusiastic and inquisitive Electrical, Electronic or Software students who want to get involved in the design, development and testing of innovative control solutions for critical industry.
The roles will both work under the direct supervision of experienced engineers, and will involve:
- Contributing to the design, development and testing of mission critical innovative solutions.
- Working as an integral team member contributing to the resolution of hardware and software challenges.
- Developing a basic understanding of ITI’s operational procedures and ensuring compliance with both internal and external standards.
The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate understanding and ability in:
- Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) hardware and software
- Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems
- Electrical circuit theory and design for dc, ac and 3 phase circuits
- Instrumentation and Control circuits and principles
- Basic Computer Network design and configuration
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Basic Experience with CAD

If you're currently studying for Electrical & Electronic or Electrical or Software Engineering degree (min expected grade 2:1) or have recently completed an HNC/HND in the same or related subjects, apply below.
