Tata Steel Colors is an international business with nearly 50 years’ experience in the development and manufacture of pre-finished steels. The steels produced by the business are applied in many sectors/finished products including building envelope (roof cladding and wall cladding), domestic appliances, consumer products, bakeware and other specialist applications.

We have exciting opportunities at TATA Steel Shotton for Computing /IT /Data Science & Software Engineering graduates to help us with our journey towards Predictive Maintenance, Quality Improvements and learning from the vast amounts of process data we store.

The successful applicants will work with our data, control systems, and help provide valuable insights into our Production Processes identifying problems before they happen. You will help visualize our Production line performance in live dashboards. You will help set up new databases, you will use a variety of software such as SQL, MS Azure, R ,Power Bi , Spotfire , Power Apps to name a few.

You will work with a multitude of Industrial software Automation systems associated with high speed production facilities. You will help automate parts of the production facility improving performance and reducing failures.

You will have an excellent opportunity to apply your academic skills within a global industry.
