EMEA Quality Assurance Placement

The QA (Quality Assurance) Department at Illumina works with our stakeholders and business partners to ensure that our products and services comply and are effective within our Quality Management System ( BS ISO 13485:2016 ) and that we have in place the necessary systems and procedures to demonstrate that compliance.

Within this internship you will support compliance across EMEA (Europe; Middle East & Africa) including the UK and Netherlands and contribute to standard business activities such as, CAPA (Corrective Action Preventive Action), SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Report), and Audit.

You will be embedded within the supporting functions of the QA group to allow you experiential access to the systems to enable your practical growth and understanding of them in relation to the broader services which we support.

Preferred background & Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or a Graduate (bachelor program or higher, 2:1 or above) preferred
  • Strong database skill set that includes Excel or comparable tools
  • Must have strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
