The role
During your stay within the Chemistry Development team, the post holder will design and perform experiments aimed at advancing understanding of how SBS reagents interact with DNA and evaluate potential new analytical tools.
By the end of the internship, you will be expected to be working fairly independently, generate accurate reports, and give presentations to the Team.
Preferred background, skills and experience
- BSc in Biochemistry or Chemistry or 2nd year of the degree
- Completed modules in basic biochemistry, and enzymology or chemistry.
- Familiar with basic analytical chemistry techniques
- Basic data analysis skills are desired, but not required.
- Good communication skills
