Sales Support Placement

We are currently seeking highly motivated Undergraduate students to join us for their placement year in Sales Support – working with our Sales Specialists and Account Managers in the amazing UKI HPE/Aruba Networking team. You will be working in a role which is integral to the success of the tracking and forecasting of the Networking teams performance and sales operations. Throughout your internship you will gain a valuable insight into the sales profession and you will also have exposure to other business units - in order to broaden your knowledge and understanding of our wider business environment. This internship program is particularly focused at curious, motivated individuals who want to gain experience and knowledge within a fast-paced global company.

The role

You will be working within Aruba. Aruba is redefining the "Intelligent Edge" Aruba is creating new customer experiences by building intelligent spaces and digital workspaces - leading next-generation network access solutions for the mobile enterprise. We are focused on campus, branch, mobility and the IoT to transform businesses with the combined power of compute, context, control and secure connectivity. How you’ll make your mark:

  • You will play a key role in supporting Sales Specialists and Sales Managers on a daily basis
  • Be directly involved and participate in the weekly sales forecasting process and analyze weekly sales against targets
  • Run and maintain pipeline reports and produce weekly deal tracking reports
  • Build key relationships with external Partner stakeholders and the sales team - Sales Specialists and Managers
  • Represent the UK&I on weekly demand planning/supply chain calls
  • Support the onboarding of new Partners on to the HPE/Aruba Partner Landscape
  • Support the organization of specific sales enablement events

About you:

  • You are currently in second year of study of a four year degree course preferably business related
  • Available for an industrial placement year beginning July 2021
  • On course for a minimum 2:1 degree
  • Good knowledge of MS Office in particular MS Excel with strong analytical skills
  • A highly self- motivated individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to work as part of a team and support other team members as well as having the ability to work independently
