What are we looking for?

As the successful Purchasing Assistant Intern, you will have the opportunity to work and learn in a procurement environment to ensure the BSH community spend wisely. This includes:

• Learning and using internal systems such as:
• Espresso system – creating SC, providing support for Requestors
• SUMAS system – creating /changes on Suppliers account
• Creating Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and SoW (Statement of Work) for Service contract in ContractPod system
• Coordinating the catalogues usage in BSH GB/IE
• Potential Supplier credit checks
• Reporting – spend data analysis, procurement measures in PUR-A
• Reviewing supplier tender submissions
• Involvement in tender processes

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for the successful candidate to have excellent attention to detail, analytical mind-set and demonstrate their interest in purchasing activities. You will also have:

• A Commercial focus, with the ability to initiate and drive forward ideas
• Excellent time management & organization skills
• The ability to thrive under pressure; to maintain excellent attention to detail and meet strict deadlines
• Very good knowledge of MS-Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• The ability to take initiative and responsibility for tasks
• Team player with Communication skills at all levels
• Excellent written and verbal skills
