Content Strategy Placement

Do you want to work for one of the world’s leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, marketing of entertainment and news?

To join one of our 12-month Internships you will be:

  • Currently studying at University and applying for a Placement year in your 2nd or final year or have just graduated
  • Looking for work experience immediately after completing A-Levels or equivalent course or an Apprenticeship
  • Eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from July 2021-July 2022
  • Fluent in English

What will I be doing?

Content Distribution Strategy & New Business Initiatives

  • Support CS team in developing and trialing new business models for distribution/windowing, working with internal stakeholders across NBCU business lines
  • Support CS Director in growing non-traditional distribution of acquisition titles, in particular non-theatrical and festival distribution

Content Distribution & Lifecycle Management

  • Manage UPHE Content Group trackers, slate decks, smartsheets
  • Manage lifecycle calendar for drafting opportunities and support Director in projects management
  • Liaise with marketing and operations teams worldwide to trouble shoot any issues with information flow
  • Campaign & asset planning / creation: work closely with the marketing team to ensure assets are created and campaign plans are developed to support full lifecycle of our products and all rights
  • Liaise with creative agencies to develop sales tools to support SVOD & TV exploitation

  2. Ability to communicate with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner
  3. Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative duties
