Software Engineering Placement
We're looking for a placement student to join our software team. You'll be given the opportunity to help us create the software that brings our industry-leading music-making tools to life. At Ampify you’ll discover how we love to innovate with products such as Ampify Studio, Launchpad and Groovebox.
Core Responsibilities Include
- Working in a Scrum/Agile team, iterating and learning quickly in response to user feedback
- As a valued team member, you’ll contribute to important decision making.
- Modern software development practices such as: test-driven development, user-centred design, peer reviews, continuous integration and pair programming
- Working alongside your assigned mentor, you will have the opportunity to develop existing skills as well as learn new tools and techniques.
What We’re Looking For:
- Comfortable writing C++ or swift/objective-c software
- Familiar with web based technologies (Javascript / Typescript, Rust, Ruby, Python etc)
- Familiar with version control systems such as git
- Passionate about music and audio technology
- Someone who takes pride in the quality of their work
