Egress Software Technologies is now looking for a new Project Management Placement!

• Position: Project Management Placement
• Location: White Collar Factory, Old Street, London
• Role Requirements: Second Year Undergraduate Student at a UK-based University, predicted a 2:1 or above in a Business-related degree
• Duration: 12 months, commencing Summer 2021
• Salary: 18,000 per Annum

As Egress Software Technologies continues its path of exciting growth, we are offering the exceptional opportunity to join our Project Management team. This candidate will be an undergraduate student looking to undertake a 12-month placement in our Project Management department as part of their university degree, commencing Summer 2021.

What would I be doing as Project Management Placement?

Our Project Management team have the excellent opportunity to work with some exciting prospective and current Egress customers, from a wide range of industries and backgrounds.

We are looking for an ambitious undergraduate with excellent organizational skills to join the team to support all the project management activities in our exciting and dynamic business. You will be interacting with several teams at Egress, including Sales, Product Development, and Customer Services, which will give you a great overall understanding on how our business works.

You will be working as part of our Project Management team and your role will include:

• Manage coordinated delivery projects as assigned, adhering to the Customer Success framework and helping to continuously improve the process.
• Assisting with the development, updating, monitoring and storing of project plans and documents
• Help determine time, cost, resources and materials to complete a project
• Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and managing expectations
• Tracking the status of projects to achieve short and long-term targets
• Supporting projects through their whole lifecycle
• Creating reports based on project needs, risks and issues
• Arranging meetings, workshops, etc.
• Taking minutes of meetings and following up on actions
• Perform general administrative/project assistance tasks as requested

Who is Egress looking for?

If you are someone who is organized, a meticulous planner, has great interpersonal skills and has great attention to detail, then this could be the role for you! We don’t expect you to have previous experience in Project Management (although previous exposure would be beneficial). Someone who is a self-starter with a ‘can-do’ attitude, who is resilient and can manage conflict will fit this role well.

The Project Management Placement would suit a person who has:

• Excellent organisation and planning skills
• Excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A strong understanding of Microsoft Project, Excel or similar tools
• The ability to work both independently and as a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Problem solving skills and is solution focused
• A “can do” attitude
• The ability to work under pressure

The role will be based at Egress’ headquarters in Old Street, London. However, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic we have implemented a number of working from home measures at Egress. Pre-pandemic, every Egress office is a fantastic place to work. Now, with remote working the ‘new normal’, we’ve made sure that we’ve kept the great office atmosphere, wherever you’re working.
