Technical Consultant Summer Internship

We are now looking for undergraduates that have the talent and ambition to become skilled Technical Consultants. During your placement with us we will ensure that you’re challenged and given every opportunity to grow your knowledge and experience with the support of an experienced Autodesk engineering team.

As part of one of the largest companies in the software industry, you will work alongside a large team of experienced engineers on challenging industry focused projects. As your skills develop, you will be expected to learn, understand and use the software that Autodesk develops and sells to solve complex engineering problems and deliver high quality results in a timely manner. Your summer with Autodesk will be spent working on challenging projects with an experienced team supporting your development and helping you to deliver high quality results.

At our UK flagship office in Birmingham you will be able to take advantage of our on-site Technology Centre that provides access to extensive machining and inspection equipment to ensure that you experience the powerful manufacturing outcomes that Autodesk software provides for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Work on real engineering problems with a team of experienced industry professionals.
  • Learn how to automate design and manufacturing processes through development of bespoke applications.
  • Gain knowledge of the complex problems that Autodesk customers solve by using the powerful outcomes delivered by Autodesk software solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 120 UCAS points (2017 UCAS tariff scale) and predicated 1st or 2i degree

The Ideal Candidate

  • We are looking for bright Mechanical, Aerospace, Product Design Engineering (or similar) students for our eleven-week summer internships starting summer 2021
