Whether you are in Corporate Banking or Investment Banking you will be involved in exciting projects that will give you an insight into how determination, courageous decision-making and logical thinking are essential to our work and how these businesses work collaboratively together. You will learn about the products and services we offer across our international network and connect with supportive colleagues in multiple areas. With their help and guidance, and some formal training, you will build your strengths so you can drive your development further.

Here, you will have insight into how our colleagues work together to meet client needs; supporting them in optimising their cash flows, providing greater security, at a lower cost. You will learn how treasury functions look to optimise capital management, manage their surplus cash, optimise interest earnings, and manage global payables, receivables and everything in between.

In Corporate Banking, you will gain first-hand experience of how our relationship managers, working closely with our product specialists, create innovative solutions to meet the banking needs of our largest corporate and institutional clients. You will have the opportunity to understand how we build trusted relationships with our clients, gain a great overview of the breadth of products HSBC can offer and see how we respond to our clients’ need by deploying these products into tailored solutions across multiple countries. You will also see how we help the bank manage the risk inherent from dealing with these clients, to ensure we foster a sustainable business model.

In Investment Banking, you can get a taste of how we work closely with clients to understand their long-term strategic goals. This enables us to deliver tailored financial and advisory solutions designed to meet the individual needs of our corporate, financial and public-sector clients. Working alongside industry experts, you’ll develop a wide range of skills and knowledge.
