About Aldi

Aldi is one of the most reputable retailers in the global business market today. With a simple goal of providing great value and quality, using leaner and smarter business processes, we’re a supermarket that’s getting it right. We’re winning all kinds of awards and new stores are springing up all over the country as we rapidly increase our market share.

Corporate Responsibility Industrial Placement

This is your chance to get a real taste of retail, as you're exposed to every facet of our business over the 12 months of your placement.

Don't be fooled by the word 'Buying' here. This large corporate department covers every aspect of the product lifecycle, from concept to shelf. During your training, you'll get a broad overview of Corporate Responsibility, Quality Assurance, PR & Marketing, and Corporate Logistics.

The rest of your time will be spent in a specific department, depending on the needs of the business, your choice of degree and your future plans. It's about working on personal and team projects, building relationships and solving problems in a complex environment. Yes, it can be daunting - but it can also be a fantastic opportunity to learn and be inspired by a company that's so different to all the others.

This is your chance to get a real taste of retail, as you’re exposed to every facet of our business over the 12 months of your placement. It can be daunting – but it can also be a fantastic opportunity to learn and be inspired by a company that’s so different to all the others.

Just like the rest of Aldi, we’re a positive, hardworking team who enjoy coming up with new processes and business change. Alongside our commercial focus, we’re motivated by making a difference to people and the planet. Ideally with a relevant degree, we want to recruit an individual that is as passionate about British farming, food and our global environmental impact as much as we are. You’ll be based in our Resources team (Farming, Fish, Forestry and Fair Trade) but will also get chance to work on projects across CR related to Health & Nutrition, Ethical Trading and Communities.

It’s a rare placement; relevant business experience that will stretch your thinking and question your lifestyle choices, as you help a global business implement social and environmental solutions.
