About Aldi

Aldi is one of the most reputable retailers in the global business market today. With a simple goal of providing great value and quality, using leaner and smarter business processes, we’re a supermarket that’s getting it right. We’re winning all kinds of awards and new stores are springing up all over the country as we rapidly increase our market share.

E-Commerce Industrial Placement

Here at Aldi, we’re at the top of our game. And so are our Industrial Placements. In fact, we’ve been ranked third in The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers list for 2018. The placements are a unique chance for you to get hands-on experience in a global company from day one. We’ll give you expert insight and excellent training, but expect you to roll your sleeves up. After all, it’s a two-way thing.

Digitally savvy and switched on, you’ll thrive on our e-Commerce Programme. You’ll be surrounded by like-minded people who keep Aldi open 24/7. With a fascination for the latest trends and a desire to keep up to date with the latest hashtags, you’ll fit right in. Aldi is getting bigger and better, meaning that more products are being added to our award-winning portfolio. Which is ideal for you, as there will be more mini-projects to get stuck into.

Global Business Coordination Placement

The Global Business Coordination team plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the IT and Commercial sides of the business. It ensures a collaborative approach is employed when defining how technology can help us to craft “Everyday Amazing” Customer Experiences and shape Aldi’s future.

Working across the international business with exciting opportunities to travel, you’ll help lead multiple projects, and aim to improve customer experiences, internal processes and systems, and deliver improvements across Marketing, Customer Service, eCommerce and Digital Content.

What you really need for this programme is inherent curiosity. But ideally you’ll also be working towards a 2:1 in any discipline on a sandwich degree course. You’ll also have a minimum of 96 UCAS points (240 if using the old tariff) from your top 3 A-levels (excluding general studies). Please note we also accept 63 Scottish Highers (150 points if using the old tariff) as an equivalent to UCAS points. Placements in Atherstone don’t require access to a car, but you’ll still need a driving licence.
