Networking Sales Support Placement

We are currently seeking highly motivated Undergraduate students to support Sales Specialists and Account Managers within the HPE/Aruba Networking team in the UK&I. This role will be integral to the success of the tracking and forecasting of the Networking team performance. Throughout your internship you will gain a valuable insight into the sales profession within one of the world’s leading IT companies. You will also have exposure to other business units in order to broaden your knowledge and understanding of the wider business environment within HPE. This internship program is particularly focused at high achieving individuals hoping to gain experience and knowledge within a fast-paced global company.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will play a key role in supporting Sales Specialists and Sales Managers on a daily basis
  • Be directly involved and participate in the weekly sales forecasting process
  • Run and maintain pipeline reports
  • Produce weekly deal tracking reports
  • Build key relationships with external Partner stakeholders
  • Liaise on a regular basis with Sales Specialists and Managers
  • Represent the UK&I on weekly demand planning/supply chain calls
  • Analyze weekly sales against targets
  • Support the onboarding of new Partners on to the HPE/Aruba Partner Landscape
  • Support the organization of specific sales enablement events


  • Currently in second year of study of a four year degree course preferably business related
  • On course for a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office in particular MS Excel
  • A highly self- motivated individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An enthusiastic attitude and a proactive mindset
  • Must have the ability to work as part of a team and support other team members as well as having the ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
