Structured into four sub-teams – Experienced Hire, Student, Talent Search and Employer Brand - we recruit approx. 4,000 people across all levels each year, with a huge focus on recruitment innovation.

What will you be doing?

  • Interaction with both candidates and stakeholders within the business
  • Supporting with the logistics and the co-ordination of our work experience programmes and EY Experience days
  • Organisation of the CSR, social and networking opportunities on the internship programme
  • Programme follow up with candidates and internal teams to ensure conversion of candidates onto further programmes

We're looking for students that have a passion and interest in HR, Recruitment and events. If you’re studying for an honours degree (in any subject) that includes a one-year placement and you’re in your penultimate year of university, this placement is for you. You will also have the opportunity to travel with the role, attend events and take advantage of the EY Networks available.

How’s it structured?

By joining the HR Industrial Placement programme, you’ll be working within the Student Recruitment team to support the execution of our Early Identification strategy. The aim of the Early Identification team (EID) is to engage school/college students and undergraduates to build long-term relationships to enable us to grow our graduate and apprenticeship talent pipelines. The EID is responsible for the design, development, selection and conversion for the firm’s EID programmes including: Summer Internships, Industrial Placements, Business Academy, Scholarships, Discover EY and Leading Women.

You will join us for a year before your final year of a university Honours degree. During your placement with us you will develop essential know-how through a range of activities. Over the year you may experience web-based learning, shadowing senior colleagues and team members, secondments and training courses with our in-house experts.
